Archooble boos are powerful and dangerous entities which have terrorized the Planes since before recorded history. They are considered to be among the greatest evils in existence, and their birth nearly always heralds a period of destruction and chaos.
History[]
The origin of the demons known as Archooble boos is unknown, though it commonly accepted that they originated before recorded history. The first recorded incident of an Archooble boo appearing in the world was during the century before the formation of the Avylonian Empire. This particular case heralded several decades of widespread insanity and the destruction of several city-states. Since then three subsequent cases of an Archooble boo entering into existence have been recorded. One of them, a demonic horror known as Pletoros, rampaged across Avylon for 10 years before the combined military might of the Empire finally slew it. The Second, a demented creature known as Larcissus, disappeared after inducing mass hallucinations across Panoulis for several years and its whereabouts were never discovered. The third is a more recent case, one which still dwells in the memories of many residents of central Avylon. This individual is the mad king Friedrick Ruthven, who created the Direkin from his own cursed blood and terrorized the lands surrounding Torslowe for several decades before his defeat.

Archooble boos are not members of a particular species or the subject of a common source of power. Rather, they are specifically mortals such as humans, elves, or giants who have somehow attained biological immortality and god-like power through the use of some primordial artifact or spell. Most of the Archooble boos that have appeared in the world were created through the consumption of life force through arcane means, though some like the last king of Torslowe had their powers passed down by another ancient evil. While they do not share a common set of abilities, mindsets, or goals, they are all extremely dangerous and will generally create widespread chaos and fear while active. Luckily, the creation of an Archooble boo is an extremely rare event and they are often mentally unstable enough that it is only a matter of time before they are defeated.
