Serl's Raiders are a group of Malkan-aligned bandits.
Formation[]
The Raiders formed at an unknown date sometime around the 544th Summer and operate under the joint leadership of Serl Ratima and self-proclaimed god Idris Rotash. The group arrived in Sartia from the west and within the city met and enlisted Khaj Janza, an assassin. While in Sartia, the group formed a plan to sack Ume Rayl. Khaj was, at the time, pursuing an assassination contract for the head of Cals Ratima, a Sartian general, and agreed to share the reward with the group in exchange for their aid.
The group successfully scoped out the Sartian palace and determined that Cals was most likely staying in its guest quarters. It then infiltrated the palace that night and waged a short but deadly battle against a number of Sartian royal guards and the general himself. After slaying the guards and the general, the group recuperated and promptly left with Cals' trademark weapons and head.
Khaj met his contractor, Malka's Grey Inquisitor in Sartia's eastern quarter the next morning for the contract's payment, $2500.
Journey to Ume Rayl[]
The party then headed north en route to Ume Rayl, passing through Placiae before passing by Oporos. En route to Chisse, the group ambushed a Russert supply caravan bound for Terisef. After a brief struggle, the raiders killed the caravan's guards and took its driver hostage before plundering its cargo. Tyki died of wounds received in the struggle shortly after.
