The Drenched Ne'erdowells are a group of fugitive exiles currently hiding within the Plane of Water. The ship carrying them to the island prison of Ankitral, the Autumnwind, was attacked by Charybdis before it could reach its destination. Its survivors, including the Drenched Ne'erdowells, are believed to have washed up on the western shores of Panbrenia.

History[]

Apollyon, Sinon Maxwell, and Root Fitzer (disguised as a crew member of the Autumnwind, Sailor Ukowau) found their way to a beach south of Coralwreath - the first by flight, the second two by drifting while unconscious - where Root made a meal of some crabs and scouted the surrounding area while Apollyon formed a pact with Sinon. The three grouped up before visiting an abandoned holdfast marked with the symbol of the Cult of Focalor, where they found a small amount of money and food supplies. They then visited Coralwreath, where they learned of the Cult of Focalor's activity in the area. After a conversation with a guard, they decided to start for Lecrepi, the Crepuscani capital. Along the way, they took advantage of a farmer's hospitality and spent the night in his barn.

After arriving in Lecrepi, the party visited the grand library there where they encountered Luighseach ni Shuilleabhain, Root's spouse. They transcribed several rituals they believed might allow Apollyon to enter settlements before departing. Once outside the city, they performed the ritual to allow Apollyon to transform into a cat at will.

Recalling a cave near the beach where most of the party washed up, they departed from Lecripi. Upon arriving at the site they came to the realization that the cave was inhabited by a small group of dire Merfolk, which they promptly eradicated.
