Elementals are magical constructs associated with an ethereal element. Though many elementals prefer to stay in their home elemental plane, others have aspirations that lead them on adventures that take them far from home.
Elementals have a marked affinity for magic, especially magic employing their associated element. Further, elemental magic of their associate element will actually heal elementals, though life magic is less potent against them since they have mostly incorporeal bodies.
When making an elemental, choose an ethereal element to be your associated element. Damage of this element will heal you, and you will deal extra damage with spells of this element.
