The Heroes of Averspring are so named for their efforts in the region of Averspring, fighting off the Cult of the Radiant, lead by the white mage Lucifer. The six heroes assaulted the small town of Harvel's Spring after the failed assault of the Obstburg troops. The fighters Brauner, Graham, and Diserin alighted upon the western wall and were beaten back by the combined efforts of three cultists and Lucifer's constant attack. From the north side Bastien rose corpse after corpse to assault the main force, in a war of attrition, battling for every inch against Lucifers primary adviser, a powerful swordswoman who was only barely contained by the efforts of Jek Litho. Caem Sevam hid back, striking enemies constantly from afar, until accosted by three cultists, an attack that he barely got out of. When all was said and done, Litho had passed out from the effort of suppressing two cultists and the adviser, and numerous wounds persisted for the group. However, a mere six had taken a force over three times their size from a superior position, and ended the leadership of the Cult, gaining them the title of heroes.
