The Plane of Shadow is the elemental plane associated with the element of Shadow. Its tincture of Panoulis forms the Wastes.
Geography[]
As an elemental plane, the Plane of Shadow is a reflection of Panoulis. it is flipped horizontally, such that its reflection of the Wastes and the Western Lake lie in the eastern part of the plane.
The plane, being the opposite of the Plane of Light, experiences eternal night. Its lakes and rivers are filled with black water, which is ironically safe to drink. Generally, the plane has relatively plain geography compared to that of the other planes, and like Panoulis is mostly covered in grasslands interspersed with rocky, mountainous regions and deserts.
