Ron Orgul is an imperial stormtrooper in service of the One Empire.
Early life[]
Ron was born to Ron and Gerda Orgul on Dantooine in 993 ABY. He lived a peaceful childhood on his family's farmstead.
Ron witnessed an imperial scout's landing on Dantooine as a child and quickly became fascinated by the imperial military, at the behest of his parents. As he grew, so did his fascination.
In his teenage years, he worked any odd job he could find in order to save enough credits to purchase a blaster for himself. Once he had the blaster, he began to obsessively hone his skill with it, and took to hunting iriaz in his spare time.
By the time Ron reached adulthood, his fascination with the imperial military had not waned. He purchased a passage to Dathomir and left his family behind to enlist in the imperial military. His superiors noted his excellent marksmanship and indomitable morale early on.
Felucian civil war[]
Just months after Ron's training was completed, the native inhabitants of Felucia rebelled against the Grand Imperium. Moff Shadley ordered that the rebellion be put down swiftly and with force, prompting the deployment of the imperial army on Felucia.
Ron's division arrived with the second wave of troops on Felucia. Though the Grand Imperium had superior numbers, tactics, and firepower, the Force connections possessed by the Felucians made them a formidible foe. The Felucians inflicted heavy losses on the imperial army in the war, prompting the army to request Sith warriors. This request was granted, and the war ended soon after the arrival of the Sith warriors in an imperial victory.
In one particular battle, Ron's group was almost completely wiped out, leaving only him and one ally. Though he was too wounded to fight or even to flee, his ally refused to leave him behind and heroically fought off the Felucians. The injuries this ally sustained would lead to his later death, though his sacrifice bought Ron his life. As a result, Ron has vowed to never leave an ally behind, no matter how hopeless the situation.
During the war, the gory deaths of many of Ron's comrades led him to form a deep hatred for Felucians and alien species in general. This hatred made his participation in a number of atrocities against the Felucians easy for him to justify to himself.
