The Loranne is a loosely organized confederation of northeastern farming villages, including Averspring and Alencone. It is also the name of the governing body of the confederation, a council of village and town leaders which meets yearly to discuss common issues. Although the individual towns of The Loranne maintain a high degree of autonomy, there is a general expectation of mutual cooperation and defense. Mayor Ojuglesh of Averspring was the leader of the council until his murder in 2 Summer 81.
